Biography

“What the heck are you thinking?” Amy heard that a lot when she was leaving a successful career with KPMG as an Audit Manager to follow her passion of building professional relationships and connecting people. That passion has resulted in a rewarding career in accounting and finance recruiting and consulting, rising to Vice President of a national recruiting firm and more recently as a founding partner in J Curve and Homrich, Klein & Associates.

“What I love about J Curve is the opportunity to provide career opportunities to accounting and finance individuals that truly meet their professional and personal goals while at the same time providing high quality, cost-effective solutions to our clients’ needs.

I work with an amazing team of people who are smart, creative and driven by the desire to provide results to our clients. Our consistent client feedback is that our consultants hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on their business.”

Amy is graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University, which means, of course, she is a football fan.  She is an inactive CPA.

In addition to her work at  J Curve and Homrich, Klein & Associates, Amy is the President of the American Association of Finance and Accounting Recruiters, the largest affiliation of independent executive recruiting firms in North America. Locally, she is an active member of the Atlanta Chapter of the Women’s Presidents’ Organization, the Association for Corporate Growth and The Paideia School Board of Directors. Amy also volunteers at local organizations that are committed to helping the homeless through giving them a hand-up verses a handout.

In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling to new places, cooking and walking her two border collies, Belle and Zoey.
