During her career as Audit Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and as she climbed the ranks to Vice President at a national recruiting firm, Patty discovered her passion for helping colleagues and clients. Co-founding Homrich, Klein and Associates (HKA) and J Curve combine both Patty’s understanding of accounting and finance with her unique skills at recruiting and placing top talent.

“I really like people and find it rewarding to build personal friendships with my clients. I’ve watched their careers advance and see how happy they are in their personal lives,” Patty notes. “Many of my clients today who are CFOs or Controllers, I met as young staff accountants years ago. Throughout their careers I’ve worked with many of them to support their ongoing hiring needs – both as individuals and within their companies.”

Listening to both colleagues and clients led Patty and her HKA partners to create J Curve. “We’ve seen a growing demand for project work, specialized expertise and interim accounting and finance positions that demand highly-experienced professionals. J Curve sets a high standard to meet those needs,” says Patty.

Patty enjoys spending time with her husband and the “two best yellow labs in the world.” Her interests include exercise, reading, art exhibitions, and an ongoing pursuit to find the best Syrah ever crafted.
